Description

Baked chicken and cheese croissants are a delightful fusion of flaky, buttery pastries and savory fillings, making them an irresistible treat for any meal. Ingredients

  • 4 large croissants, sliced in half
  • 8 slices of deli chicken (about 200g)
  • 8 slices of Swiss cheese (or Gruyère, about 120g)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. If desired, spread Dijon mustard and mayonnaise on the inside of each croissant half for added flavor.
  3. Layer 2 slices of chicken and 2 slices of cheese inside each croissant. Close gently.
  4. Brush the tops with melted butter for a golden finish.
  5. Bake on the prepared baking sheet for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and croissants are golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
