Ingredients

  • 1½ cups mashed bananas (about 3 ripe bananas)
  • ½ cup nut butter
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas, nut butter, rolled oats, cinnamon, vanilla extract, maple syrup, chocolate chips, and salt until well mixed.
  3. Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking pan and flatten it evenly using a spatula. Optionally sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
  4. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
