  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for cheesecake swirl)


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and vinegar together. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, blend cream cheese with sugar until smooth. Mix in one egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan. Spoon dollops of cheesecake filling on top and repeat with remaining brownie batter. Use a knife to create swirls.
