Instructions

  1. Prepare the strawberries by slicing them and mixing with granulated sugar. Set aside for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, ¼ cup granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Add cold butter and blend until crumbly.
  4. Mix in milk and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract gently until just combined.
