- 3 tbsp dark chili powder

- 1/4 tsp red chili flakes
- 6 oz tomato paste
- 3 cups water
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- In a large pot over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent.
- Stir in salt, black pepper, brown sugar, dark chili powder, cumin, and red chili flakes.
- Mix in tomato paste and water; add bay leaf along with garlic powder and onion powder.
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered for about 30 minutes until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in apple cider vinegar before serving.
